Death of a celebrated Godman

My first memories of Shri. Sathya sai baba are from a cricket match that he hosted in late nineties, where one of his most celebrated disciples Sachin led the Indian team against the world11 for heavy gold trophy as a winner's take home.
Years later as I grew up in the country of yogis, gurus and, godmen I think I did not hear of him much.
The reason is that in Northern part of India we hardly have them, it more about bapus, and babas.
But now that he passed away on 24th April, the birthday of arguably his most famous disciple, i kind of feel sad. Partly because of his death but mostly because of media accusing the guy of being a thug once again.
He was no god, I agree. However, I also think he was a good man, with good intents. He made the world around him a better place to live in, and was far more than the vibhuti aur lingams that he miraculously or non-miraculously produced.
RIP baba, and come back again.
